Cast out of the verdant sanctum,
Crawling forever, a worthless phantom,
Injustice was dealt, the sentence undeserved,
Embittered with a hatred only now unearthed.
Emaciated - Made in the image of a charlatan,
Degradation.
Through the desert with a sword aflame,
Knowing only betrayal and those to blame,
Divinity denied, mankind uncrowned,
For aeons and aeons the insult compounds.
Unending Warfare,
Whose fable is the most worthy?
Futile bickering.
Mechanical limbs forged from the earth, a darkening sky bodes ill.
Few protest for all it’s worth, as the swarm closes in for the kill.
We cannot survive, let alone thrive,
If we cannot transcend these fallacies.
Dusk falls now, on an era of greed,
Whilst we stand and gaze,
Transfixed by the beauty of a world come to its end.
All we do is watch as the sun sets on our existence.
Gone are the leaders of the masses, praised by the inadequates and the depraved.
Gone are the children of the prophets, buried by the planet we should have saved.

Empires rise. Empathy dies.
The Gods in the skies, pay no heed to the cries.
Pray to your idols, in an effort to alleviate the suffering.
Blinded by faith and misled by hierophants.
Mythology based on falsehoods should not perpetuate,
All flocks now willing and ripe for the slaughter, United in Misery.
